1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Elimora (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Elimora is an online marketplace that connects TSC-registered teachers with private and international schools in Kenya. Teachers may create profiles and submit their credentials for verification. Schools may subscribe to search, shortlist, and contact teachers.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By registering, you represent that:

  • You are a qualified teacher registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) of Kenya, or
  • You are an authorised representative of a private or international school operating in Kenya.

4. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Teacher Representations

Teachers using the Platform represent and warrant that:

  • All information provided, including TSC number, qualifications, and experience, is true and accurate
  • They hold a valid TSC registration certificate
  • They will promptly update their profile if any information changes
  • They have obtained consent from any referees listed on their profile

6. School Representations

Schools using the Platform represent and warrant that:

  • They are a legally registered educational institution in Kenya
  • They will use teacher contact information solely for legitimate hiring purposes
  • They will not share teacher data with third parties without consent

7. Verification Disclaimer

Elimora performs verification of TSC numbers submitted by teachers. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any teacher profile. Schools are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence before engaging a teacher. The Platform's verification stamp indicates that the TSC number has been cross-referenced against the TSC database at the time of verification and does not constitute a guarantee of a teacher's competence, conduct, or suitability.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Schools pay a monthly subscription fee of KES 1,000 (or as advertised on the Platform) to access teacher contact details. All payments are processed securely through Paystack Incorporated. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as outlined in our Refund Policy. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

9. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Create fake accounts or impersonate another person or entity
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent the Platform's subscription or unlock mechanisms
  • Harvest, scrape, or collect user data without authorisation
  • Contact teachers for purposes other than legitimate employment

10. Limitation of Liability

Elimora is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, we disclaim all liability for damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to hiring decisions, lost opportunities, or data breaches not caused by our negligence.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law. Teachers or schools may delete their account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access to the Platform ceases, but data may be retained as required by law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
