Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy outlines permitted and prohibited uses of Elimora. It applies to all users: teachers, school representatives, and visitors.
2. Permitted Use
You may use the Platform solely for:
- Creating and maintaining a teacher profile for the purpose of finding employment
- Searching for and connecting with potential teaching candidates for legitimate hiring
- Managing your subscription and account settings
- Browsing the public teacher directory
3. Prohibited Activities
Users must not:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Upload content that is defamatory, discriminatory, hateful, or harassing
- Impersonate another person, school, or entity
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent subscription requirements
- Share or distribute teacher contact information obtained through the Platform to third parties
- Use teacher data for purposes other than hiring (e.g., marketing, research without consent)
- Attempt to access, scrape, or harvest data beyond your authorised access level
- Interfere with the Platform's security, authentication, or payment mechanisms
- Introduce malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Engage in any activity that violates Kenyan law
4. Content Standards
All user-generated content must:
- Be accurate and not misleading
- Not infringe on any third-party rights
- Not contain personal information of others without their consent
- Not contain profanity, threats, or harassment
5. Enforcement
Violation of this policy may result in:
- Removal of content
- Temporary or permanent account suspension
- Forfeiture of subscription fees
- Referral to relevant authorities (TSC, police) for serious violations
